It’s a pleasure to introduce ourselves to you. We’re Mike and Bonnie Graeff, proud residents of Gearhart, Oregon since 2005. Prior to settling here, we owned Mike’s Eastside Drugs in Vancouver, WA from 1979 to 2009. During our time there, we were honored to serve as one of the last full-service Independent Community Pharmacies in Clark County.
Mike, a graduate of the University of Washington School of Pharmacy, has always had a passion for compounded prescriptions and maintaining a unique inventory tailored to the needs of our patients and the medical community.
Our journey to Gearhart began when we discovered this charming Coastal Community and instantly fell in love with its distinctive charm. Recognizing the need for a full-service comprehensive pharmacy service in the North Oregon Coast region, we decided to establish Mike’s Compounding Apothecary.
At our pharmacy, we’re committed to providing personalized care, compounded prescriptions, and a range of unique apothecary products and services to meet the diverse needs of our community. We’re excited to be part of the Gearhart – North Oregon Coast community and look forward to serving you with the same dedication and care that has been our hallmark throughout our years in the pharmaceutical profession.

Thanks to the @dailyastorian for the recent article on us. Here’s an excerpt (read the full story in the link in bio):
GEARHART — A pharmacist has made his way down to the coast from Vancouver, Washington, to fill a need in Gearhart.
Nestled in a rustic former post office, Mike’s Compounding Apothecary offers a softer alternative to the fluorescent lights of chain pharmacies.
While Mike Graeff fills prescriptions and formulates custom medications in the back room, his wife, Bonnie, sits at the counter and welcomes customers. Behind her is a colorful array of old-fashioned licorice. Artfully arranged throughout the store are candles, postcards, stuffed animals, homeopathic concoctions, artisan soaps and skincare products.
